Delivery is free in mainland Britain for all orders over £270 (nett of VAT). For orders below £270 (nett of VAT) we have a standard delivery charge of only £10.00 + VAT.
Our standard delivery service is 3-7 working days dependent on stock availability.
All of our products are delivered by courier between 8.30am and 5:30pm to an address of your choice. Please ensure someone is available to sign for the goods as they cannot be left without an authorised signature.
We regret that if nobody is available at the premises we will have to make a charge for re-delivery. Please note that redelivery charges will be higher due to re-stocking and re-scheduling.
From the delivery paperwork, you will be able to identify and check the items you have ordered. It is vital that you contact us immediately to advise of any discrepancies.
In the event of goods being received damaged we will replace them but only if the damage is recorded on the couriers paperwork or, the damage is reported to us within 24 hours.
We will make every effort to deliver orders within the delivery option requested at the time the order was placed. However we cannot guarantee this and we will not accept responsibility if your order is delivered outside this time.
In the event that your chosen product is out of stock you will be notified immediately. You may cancel your order at this point or we can place you chosen product on back-order for delivery in the future. Credits for cancelled items will be refunded directly to your credit card. If you have paid by cheque refunds will be made in Pounds Sterling only, you also have the option to keep the amount "on account" against future purchases. Credits against a cheque cannot be refunded against a credit card number.
All returns must be agreed with our Customer Services department in advance otherwise we regret that they will not be accepted. We also regret that surplus or incorrectly ordered items are likely to be subject to a re-stocking charge from the original supplier so please take the utmost care when ordering. Because all of our deliveries are supplied by courier, claims for shortages cannot be accepted unless notified immediately on delivery. When returning goods please remember to include a copy of your receipt, or your name address and telephone number in order that we can credit you.
As you will be responsible for any returned goods until they reach us, we do advise you to use recorded delivery to help you claim should the package be lost or damaged in transit. If you are returning an item because it is faulty, we will fund the cost of the carriage.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.
All credit card orders are automatically authorised by the merchant services provider to ensure against fraud, irrespective of the amount. We also take payment by cheque, so you do not have to disclose any card details over the telephone or the Internet. If you wish to pay by cheque, please call our customer services department on 01902 897788 between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
We treat customer privacy very seriously and do not disclose customer information to any third parties except suppliers delivering to you.
Credit card sales are shipped as soon as items are ready to ship. Cheque sales will be shipped once the cheque has cleared into our bank account. All cheques should be made to "Elegant Interiors UK Limited"
